Beschreibung
Exonumia, 1870-Medal, AU, Julian MK-30. An intensely interesting and rare US Mint medal. Produced for the Philadelphia Rifle Club starting in 1870. Rifle clubs after the civil war became a popular way for militia companies to practice marksmanship and keep the skills of citizen soldiers sharp. Neither Stacks nor Heritage have ever offered a silver medal and only two are certified by the grading services. A rare opportunity to own a very interesting US mint medal.
